1. Information we collect
ZeroSense is designed to work mainly inside your browser. The extension reads numbers displayed on webpages in order to translate them into easier-to-understand formats such as lakh, crore, million, billion, and scientific notation.
For Pro access, we may collect your email address, payment status, license information, and an anonymous installation/device identifier generated by the extension. This is used to activate, restore, and manage your Pro access.
2. What the extension processes
ZeroSense may scan visible webpage text in your browser to detect large numbers and display helpful labels or tooltips. This processing is done to provide the core extension functionality.
ZeroSense does not intentionally collect your browsing history, passwords, private messages, financial account credentials, or personal files.
3. Payment and license information
Payments are processed through Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, bank, or payment instrument details. We only store information needed to confirm your purchase, such as payment reference, license status, email address, and allowed device identifiers.
4. Email OTP verification
To activate or restore Pro access, we may send a one-time password to your email address. OTP emails are used only for verification and account/license access.
5. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide ZeroSense features.
- Activate and restore Pro access.
- Prevent misuse or excessive license sharing.
- Provide support if you contact us.
- Maintain security and reliability of the service.
7. Data storage
License, email, payment reference, OTP session, and device identifier data may be stored in Google Cloud/Firebase systems. OTPs are stored in hashed form and expire after a short period.
8. Data deletion and support
You may contact us to request support, correction, or deletion of your account/license-related information where applicable. Some payment or transaction records may need to be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons.
9. Children’s privacy
ZeroSense is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
